We donated 20 Hi-visibility vests to Lostock Hall Academy, Lewis’ old High School, in 2012 as they are involved in a cycle safety scheme which involves taking classes of children out on their bikes on local roads with qualified coaches to educate them on road safety. The vests will give the group added presence on the roads and make them more visible to vehicles. They may also be used for the running club that is active at the school as they train on local roads also.
