It was the long bank holiday weekend and for once the weather was on our side, we went along to the North West Youth Tour which was always a favourite of Lewis’s , so it was a pleasure to go along and help out a long time friend Ivor Armstrong with the signing on for the event.
On the Sunday evening we went along to the Imperial Hotel where everyone tucked into fish & chips in a bucket it even came with its own spade for anyone who wanted to try there had at building sandcastles during the evening we held an auction which was for items which had been very kindly donated from the world of cycling including a GB jersey off Pete Marshall, a sky jersey which had been signed by the TOB boys and a word championship jersey signed by Mark Cavendish & Lucy Garner.
We were also very fortunate to be given some fantastic one off photographs take by Andy Whitehouse these included Mark Cavendish & Geraint Thomas.
We would like to thank everyone who bid for items on the evening we made an incredible amount of £1500 which is tremendous.
